Can I bring a plus-one?

Due to venue constraints, we will be having an intimate ceremony. Those who have been allotted a plus-one will see their envelope addressed with your name "+ guest”. Otherwise, only those addressed on the invitation are invited at this time. As our big day gets closer and we have a more accurate guest count, we may be able to accommodate additional plus-ones. If you feel very strongly about bringing someone, let us know and we will try our best to make it happen!

What if I want to RSVP over email?

Wonderful! I understand that technology can be especially frustrating sometimes (I also coded this website myself, so who knows what I might have done wrong WHEN something goes wrong). Just please follow these guidelines: if there are multiple names on the envelope, let us know the names of each person attending. If you have been allotted a plus-one (see above), let us know the name of your guest if they are joining you.

Can I bring my children?

We love your children, but we have chosen to have an adult only ceremony. Thank you for your understanding.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

No earlier than 3:30. Lover's Point is a public park and we have limited time to set up the space. So unless you want to watch us put out chairs, please arrive between 3:30 and 4:00.

What is the dress code?

The dress code is cocktail attire. Suit jackets, optional ties, pantsuits, and midi or knee length dresses are recommended. Maybe with a coastal vibe. Please note the ceremony is outdoors on a lawn, and the reception is indoor/outdoor. Pick footwear you can traverse through grass in, and be forewarned that PG weather is notoriously unpredictable. It can be gorgeous and sunny one minute and drippy and cold the next. Bring layers, just in case!

Will there be an open bar?

Yes! Wine, beer, and hard seltzer are included alongside non-alcoholic offerings. Our venue is a taproom, and they create their own hard seltzer, so expect all sorts of fun flavors on tap!

Will there be food?

We will be serving a meal buffet-style, with filet mignon, salmon, chicken, and cauliflower steak, as well as sides. There will also be a grazing board available upon arrival at the reception. Please contact us directly if you have any dietary restrictions, allergies, or questions.

Where should I park?

There is a parking lot at Lover’s Point Beach as well as street parking in the neighborhood, which is a short walk from Lover’s Point Park. Additionally there is a parking lot on Oceanview Boulevard and 17th Street. Our reception is directly across the street from the ceremony, so you will only need to drive and park once. Please drive responsibly.

What time will the reception end?

The reception will end at 9:00 PM.

Where are you registered?

Nowhere! NYC apartments are not known for their storage capacity and ours is filled to the brim as it is. In lieu of traditional gifts, we are asking for contributions to our honeymoon / moving / general-life fund. We also love new experiences, and will be putting money towards our honeymoon in Japan during the next cherry blossom season. Please check the Registry page above for more information, if you are interested in gifting! We have no expectations; your presence in our lives is a gift enough.
